The device is not transmitting or is damaged
What to try before going to the dealership
If your bike has been stuck in the app since a certain date, check the service first: if you received the renewal email and haven't paid yet, the B-Box isn't faulty, the service is suspended. See How to renew the myBenelli service fee.
If the service is active and your bike no longer updates in the app, in most cases you just need to switch the B-Box off and on again. You can do it yourself if you feel confident: the device is under the seat and unplugs from a dedicated socket. If you'd rather not touch it, ask your authorised Benelli dealer: it only takes a few minutes.
- Unplug the B-Box from its dedicated socket.
- Wait 30 minutes.
- Reconnect it.
- Wait up to 8 hours: the device needs to reconnect to the network and start transmitting again.
If after this time the location still doesn't update, or the B-Box is visibly damaged, go to your authorised Benelli dealer to assess whether it can be restored or needs replacing.
Some devices, stuck since the bike was first used or blocked for a long time, need an update that can only be done at the dealership: describe the problem as “B-Box blocked”.
