Problems recording trips

Trips are recorded automatically by the B-Box installed on the bike. This device automatically records all your trips and you'll find all the travel statistics in the app.

Some slight inaccuracy in detecting trips, especially at the start or where GPS coverage isn't ideal, is normal and nothing to worry about.

If the problems with automatic trip recording continue, first try switching the B-Box off and on again: see The device is not transmitting or is damaged. If nothing changes, write to supportmybenelli@benelli.com or go to your authorised Benelli dealer.

The app doesn't record trips and the location is stuck in one specific place

If, after logging in to the app for the first time and linking the vehicle, the bike's location is clearly wrong (e.g. stuck at the dealer, stuck at a generic fixed point, …), a B-Box update may be needed.

Before you go anywhere, try switching the B-Box off and on again: see The device is not transmitting or is damaged. If the location is still stuck after the restart, the update can only be done at the dealership: go to your authorised Benelli dealer.

The app hasn't recorded the trips I've just done

So that you can view your trips anywhere, the B-Box transmits the navigation data to a dedicated server. If the bike stops in an enclosed space at the end of the trip, such as a garage, the B-Box may lose signal and fail to send the route to the myBenelli server.

As soon as the B-Box is able to reconnect to GSM coverage, it will resume communication with the server, and the Trips section will be updated automatically with the missing tracks.

The kilometres in the app don't match the bike's

The B-Box calculates kilometres from the GPS track, so a difference compared with the bike's instrument panel is normal and also depends on signal quality. You can realign the app's odometer: see Updating vehicle data: fuel consumption and odometer.
